In addition to the global value for setting dragon type, you can copy the appearance of any dragon you see (including mod added). While it can be used on its own I made this specifically with Improved Closefaced Helmets in mind, which I highly recommend using. This is a compromise between being able to see your character's eyes and keeping the original aesthetic of the masks.
